Hey guys,

I thought I'd share with you pics of my brand new Lost Worlds Suburban Jacket in Russet Brown. Now, this jacket is BEAST !! It is 4.5+oz super thick Horsehide ...the heaviest Stuart had...with a Shearling body lining and Alpaca Wool in both sleeves. I know what you guys are thinking. The Alpaca wool in the sleeves has worked out pretty good actually and is super warm on the arms. Add to all of this an Antique Brown genuine Mouton Collar. The jacket is heavy but Sooo worth it as it fits well and toasty warm in the Canadian winters here.

Looks great! Good for the Canadian winters...I saw a similar jacket he did with the shearling lining. He does superb work. That jacket of yours is a tank, and it will just get better and better with age, congratulations mate.

A very good jacket for your winters, and it looks a treat as well. Good choice. Should only take about 5 years to break it in. What is the weight--maybe 8 to 9 pounds?

Awesome! Ya, I love LWs quality. I have one of Stuart's heavy hh biker vests, which I've started wearing to bed to break it in. Now, I'm waiting on a russet brown "Speed Demon" jacket, also in heavy hh.

Awesome stuff. Looks like it could keep out bullets as effectively as it'll keep out the cold. Lovely colour too.

Really Nice .. .the Suburban is one of my favourite designs by Stu ... it sort of out-Highwaymans the Highwayman in the following areas :

- Straight yoke as opposed to shallow V
- Proper buckles with prongs :)
- Zip sleeves and no storm cuff
- leather trim in the bottom 1/4 to stop the lining wearing thin against belt loops

very nice man ... a superb winter jacket :)

Just need to find a 2nd hand one in a 40" ..... just like the Highwayman :(

Perfect winter jacket for the leather lover. Well done. I agree with the previous poster that it didn't sound good in words, but the pics speak for themselves.
