Thanks for the link. The price seems reasonable as it's only a size 38 and not from a premier maker. I love the Dubow label, which has fooled many on Ebay!

Nice jacket :)
I doubt posting on the lounge really influences the price of an eBay item, there are far more people wanting old leather jackets than on a few dedicated forums so post what you wish.

It looks like a real Lost Worlds ANJ-4. Not a premier maker? Can you please detail what do you mean?

Also can you please elaborate on the Dubow label thing?

The premier makers of sheepskin jackets include Eastman, Goodwear and RMNZ. Lost Word jackets are not in the same league in terms of accuracy. Dubow never had a Wartime contract for sheepskin jackets, but the name is used by LW to sell their jackets!

Perhaps not in accuracy terms, but LW jackets have a rep for being incredibly well made.
I greatly regret selling the one I had. It was beautifully made out of fabulous sheepskin but the goatskin was lifeless. I understand that sourcing sheepskin has become an issue for LW.

I have one that I bought new about 7 years ago, and despite any accuracy issues, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I was wearing it just yesterday in -12 degree weather, and didn't really notice a thing. It does need to have the zip replaced, but I'm balking at the $275 repair fee.

I stopped in at a bank branch wearing it, and caught sight of another bank patron who was staring at either me, or the jacket. As I didn't know the person, I'm betting on the jacket.:)
