I’m selling my A-2 and Aviator jacket from Lost World I bought back in 2014. The Aviator jacket is brand new only tried on and have never worn it since I bought it 10 years ago just sitting in my closet. The A-2 only worn once or twice but pretty much new as well. They are both a sz 34 but fit much bigger more like a modern 36 or vintage 38.

I would really like to see a picture of your pit to pit measurments. I wear an aero 38, vanson 38, schott 38, so I am consistently a size 38. All of these jackets that fit me best are a 20” pit to pit. Arms are a little longer on your jacket..

Can you take a picture of measuring pit-to-pit of the Aviator? 19" for a LW (even at size 34) seems a bit extreme. Also could you measure the bottom hem and waist? Chest as well (narrowest distance between arm hole seams midway between armpits and shoulders).

Received my a2 this afternoon, thanks for getting it out to me so quickly! Man this jacket looks like you’ve never worn it and feels like it to as this thing is built like a tank! It will take many years to break this bad boy in lol.. this is my first lost worlds jacket, how can a person identify this jacket because the brand name isn’t anywhere..

I’m glad you received the jacket with no trouble. I have too many jackets at the moment so trying to sell a couple. The Aviator is a beautiful jacket and according to the guys from Lost World when I bought it back in 2014 said it was a custom special order for the Japanese market. It’s in pristine condition and has sat in storage for 10 years. If it fit I would probably keep it but it’s just not a good a fit for me and also the reason why I’ve never worn it.

Is that the same horsehide as the a2 I purchased from you Ed? It reminds me of the 1950’s chromium tanned Hercules horsehide jackets I owned. Same feel and durability. Thick and yet soft, it’s hard to explain but I can see it aging very similarly to those vintage jackets.. I’ve worn it everyday day even in the rain and there’s very little breaking in! It has to be the way the leather is tanned. I’m curious as to where lost worlds gets their horsehide. It just amazes me how different this leather is compared to the aero jackets I have. Both brands are fantastic and yet so different. Whoever gets that aviator jacket is in for a treat!

How so lol…oh I wanted to tell you that I wear a size 38 and this a2 is a size 34 so these jackets fit much if not exactly as a size 38. I could never get into a 34!
