Ha ha Jmax love that! “easy” jackets!
I know exactly what you’re talking about.
I wonder just who and how many will hang long enough to have a “statement” jacket that silently speaks to those that hung!
Bo
LW jacket gives the wearer patina, not vice-versa.I don't think the point of a LW jacket is for it to age and show wear like what we think of as a "vintage" jacket. I think the whole point of a LW jacket is it lasts and lasts and doesn't really "wear" down.

Terry, do you still have that Suburban? there was one floating around ebay that looked similar ( yeah, I bought it) I was wondering if it was this one.
edit* I realize that for the most part all of these jackets look identical... Terry's nor the one I bought have the white "Suburban" label underneath the black Lost Worlds Label, Im not sure how common that is.

Here's one that's displaying some signs of wear. Beautiful jacket but they certainly have copied Cal to the last detail.
that’s it. We have so many options now. And we’re all addicts. Pick what you like. But also since we are the addicts we are buy one of each. Or ten of each haha. Buy a LW to go to boot camp. Buy an Aero Horween for patina. Buy a Vanson to ride in. Buy a G-1 to live out your pilot fantasy. That’s what makes it fun. This very jacket led to my own LW CHP purchase. My favorite jacket as it is essentially a bulletproof Cal, I like bulletproof. I understand that the leather isn't for everyone, in the same manner that artificially distressed leather, no matter how artfully done, is not for me. Won't spend money on it. My Pegasus is cool and I enjoy it, but the easily distressed leather is not my preference either.
a LW with Horween would be a killer combination
wow such contrast between the almost pristine body panel and broken in sleeves, those are the most broken in LW sleeve picture I ever seen in this website. I wonder what kind of activity to make the body panel as broken in, wrestling a sasquatch while rolling down a gravel slope maybe.
LW Suburban about 15 years old. I don't wear them much. The leather was much thicker and stiffer then. I know it sounds impossible but it's true. I'm afraid I'll never break them in!
I have one more 42R black Suburban (bought new from Stuart in 2014) and 2 42R Test (Black, bought new from Stuart in 2017; Brown, bought new from Stuart in 2018), which I've never worn, except around the house. The leather seems less plastic-like than that of older models. Anyway, I'm a big fan of LW. View attachment 157815 View attachment 157816 View attachment 157817 View attachment 157818
