loop for pocket watch chain

It's only costume if you think it is. I do it all the time. I only wear my watch in my trouser watch-pocket if it's too hot to wear a waistcoat.

It's a mindset, really.

I agree it is a mindset, and given my environment (Seattle), wearing a waistcoat is pushing it. The waistcoat-pocket watch chain would definitely make me feel "costume".

I just switched the spring clip from the belt loop to one end of the suspender leather. Seems fine.
I might just see about adding a small loop (as suggested earlier) to all of my regular suspenders (I usually rotate amount three sets), just to make it easier to attach the clip.
