I have a better question, why? I see the prices skyrocket & people pay it...I just dont get it. I bought one this year to see if I can figure out what all the fuss is about, but I just couldn't figure it out. It's not like its a beautiful piece of art or an absolute amazing fabric...plus its a vest...an "outdoor" vest...if I'm trying to keep warm, a vest wouldn't do it. Their jackets would; those are incredibly warm for being lightweight.

Look, I'm not knocking it, because "to each his own"...seriously, no offense....but what is it about the Browns Beach Vests (imparticular) is so great? Is it just a name now, like Palm Beach? Or is it the actual garment? (I've seen other vests get into the thousands, so $400 for a BB vest is nothing).

That`s what we are taking about.I paid 20 bucksfor mine 40 years ago,you just can not wear them out.And thery are made in Mass or Vermont.
