looking for high top converse or ....?

I'm looking for a pair of cream coloured high top ( basketball )sneakers size 10.5-11D.

Does anyone know who make's the best reproduction runners out there?

The true vintage ones are beyond my means at this time.

My son had a pair of these. They just cost a lot more than I ever paid for mine when they were what everybody wore.

I have 2 pair of PF flyers, one cream and one black. I got mine from Sierra Trading Post but they still make them and are under their web site. Run faster Jump higher.

Good move on the Vintage purchase. I have a pair of Black Hi-top Connys in the closet, wore them in the delivery room, the day my son was born.......34 years ago. The USA made ones were classics, mine still look great, I figure they're about 35 years old. Just for grins, what are the vintage ones going for?
