Never heard of her. There are very few quality reweavers in the US. There are a lot of alterations tailors who hang a reweaving shingle and do terrible work. The three that I have used and that do excellent work are French-American and Zotto in NY and Without a Trace in Chicago. These shops do nothing but reweaving. Quality work takes time and time is money, so you really don't want to chase after the lowest price in regards to reweaving. You get what you pay for.

The repairs displayed in the gallery appear to be quality work. If I find a 1930s suit with moth damage at a thrift store, the investment might be worth the risk. They charge $80 per 1/8 inch hole for reweaving where I live. BTW isn't there a well known lady who does reweaving in your area? She's African American I believe.

I recently bought a jacket from Great Britain off ebay and after I got it I found a small hole. I didn't even notice it at first but then of course after you know it's there you see every time you look at the jacket. It is an exceptionally well made jacket so I was very dismayed. But I found out that a lady at our local Men's Warehouse does reweaving. She's from the Ukraine and definitely does great work. I got the jacket back today and you can't see any remnants of a repair. It cost me $40.00 and was well worth it.
