Flat cap, newsboy, panel cap, convertible cap, gatsby cap, golfer cap, it's got WAY too many names and there's a number of different styles. Most are multiple panels(usually 8) with a snap-down(to the bill) crown and a 'button' at the top of the crown where all of the panels come together.

It's a classic casual / sporting look that can pass for dressy at times, but that's bit more difficult to pull off.

I'll second the choice for B! Wear. I need me one of those.
