LOOK FOR THE UNION LABEL!

Howdy all,

That's right folks, look for that union label.

I am curious to know if anyone has a source for correctly dating the union tags. I know they have a date on them, but what years are covered for each label. Were they yearly or what? The oldest I have is a '32.

And what's the scoop on the '49? I have seen it in some garments made of the P word. Jeez, when did they get issued?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

That was very helpfull. I couldn't find any thread covering this by search method.

I will try to get a photo of the union tags I have. I believe it was a '32.

Maybe this thread would be a swell place to list images of labels and tags. That would be neat!
