For a guy with long hair.
Which hat Would you recommend?
I use to have short military style hair (Jarhead) and this was perfect for most hats.
But i have much more hair at the moment, and i noticed that wearing a hat isn't that easy anymore due that problem.
Don't tell me to cut off my hair. ;)

Cut your hair ya hippy, headbanger whatever. You insist on keeping that hair, get an old beatup cowboy hat and you can look like the bad guys in the movies or like Bon Jovi, whichever. :eusa_doh:

It looks like i'm going for the "1920's depression bum style" hehe. :whistling

Which ever one fits and looks the best? [huh]

I did see a hat on one web site (can't recall which vendor so can't give credit where it is due) that was a cowboy hat with a hole cut in the back of the crown, edged with ribbon, for a pony tail to stick out of.

My own hair hasn't been long since the late '70s.

Cheers,
Tom

I have long hair on the front and top, but keep the sides and back short.

Also have a "10 day" beard. A hat "compliments" any look, Cicero.
Even the depression bum style!

Panamas, Fisherman's Caps, a Stetson and even a Bowler.
They all seem to work well for me.

That was on JPD's site. The front page.

It's probably a hat he custom-made for someone.

Cicero,

Those hats are mighty ugly! And you're right, they're for the gals.
There's no need to cut your hair. All you have to do is go up a size!

I have LONG hair and I aint cuttin it, no matter what any old geezer type says.

I'd suggest at least a 3" brim. Larger works too. Depends on the look you're going for.

Can't do those stingy brims myself. My hair is too thick. Kid Rock may get away with it, but I think he'd look better in a WIDE brim. :D

Long Hair???

3" brim rule. Trust me.

Either that or you'll be doing a pony tail.

I gotta small head w/ a fat face.

I'm all for WIDE brim.

The problem asking here is... ya gotta bunch o' guys wanting to look like Bogey. We get lost in that look.

It's time to bring back the BIG HAT and Wind in your Hair.

Hat Style is all your own.

I have long hair (almost shoulder length to 12" longer) that I often wear in a ponytail. I prefer 2 1/2" to 3" brims. I have a couple of stingy brims but I find they look silly on me if my hair is not tied back.
