I have it.. I like it... Bean seems to run large on their sizes. However, this jacket is true to size. Also we are in the same climate zone so I can attest to it's warmth. The leather is durable and I was out last year in an open field with the wind blowing and the temp 5F. I liked it so much that I got the one that has Thinsulate insulation as well on sale for half price at the Bean outlet.

Where have you been, Kojax? Carlisle Blue and I are still waiting on the photographs you promised a year or so ago.

I got a large (I'm a 42) and there is plenty of room for layering. I saw a good deal on it on Ebay and couldn't pass it up. A good goatskin jacket for motorcycles in cold weather. The collar is real mouton and the lining is shearling. I wore it today on the motor and stayed warm, although it was very mild for December--low 50s, felt like Spring.

I bought it for it's serviceability and value. If I wanted a real repro or whatever you guys call them I would go with the more authentic jacket. I am extremely satisfied with the product for it's intended use and purpose. :)

Yep. For me it is a warm motorcycle jacket. At first I didn't like the two piece back either, but then I realized that while I am on the motorcycle, with the jacket keeping me warm, I can't see the back.

Yes, you CANNOT beat the old jackets! Don't waste hundreds of dollars. Grab one in HIS size - I got a one piece back in size 40 for $45, with $15 of that being shipping. The old coats are the BEST. Don't go for a blousy newer model, save your money and get the quality that they used to make.

I'll never give mine up, and its the least I've ever paid for a leather jacket. Too bad it took $1200 worth of other jackets to figure out a used one in the proper size was best!
