Linen shirts, short sleeves, baggy shorts and light, slip-on footwear. A linen cap is also a good idea. When you are all geared up, apply beer.Agreed completely. And the reason why I dismissed a linen suit straight away is precisely because of that. Suits look just plain bad when crumpled. So my reasoning is, a more casual style at least won't be visually affected by crumpling.
Thing is, summers are really tough for me. I'm one of those people who can't stand hot weather. It's killing me so I desperately need to do something about my summer wardrobe (which mostly consists of T-shirts) and that something is linen. I've discovered it only recently but it really is a miracle of a fabric. At least for me. Just that it doesn't come in as many variations as cotton hence this thread. Suit jackets seem to be most common which is okay but you really have to wear them over something and that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid. Getting rid of cotton altogether during the summer. That's my mission.
This just might be it. Thank you!!
I read linen is 3x tougher than any cotton. Don't know if it's true but that sounds like a good deal any way you look at it.
