change the word ringworm to lice & we might be onto something...
Scalpal herpes?

Scroffula?
(I don't know what scroffula is but it always sounded bad to me - and sounds like it should be head related)

How do you print your name on these without having the ink run off when you sweat? Do you use pencil? Do you laminate the card? My VS custom came with one and I just tossed it in the bottom of the box.

If you use a fountain pen, you could use one of Noodler's Bulletproof inks. At which point, I'd be worried more about the paper than the ink...

I think lamination may be a good idea, though.

Colby Jack's is amazing (if not needing a few more lines for the address and possibly telephone number). Could we please have one without the SAMPLE mark :)

I think Matt or perhaps it was someone else who posted some PDF's of several variations on FL hat cards, press cards, etc.

I don't recall those, but last year I posted a FL card I made up during a thread in the Observation Bar about having FL cards to hand out. I used the FL graphics, and said that if MK was OK with it I'd post the file I used. MK asked me not to as he wants to control the quality of FL and Classic Style related works. I understand that, so I dropped it. Never saw the FL hat cards on the store though, so they must have been short-lived.

Cheers,
Tom

Here's one I just whipped up.

If you print it off at 3.5" by 3.5" (I think the image is 4" by 4" due to editing constraints) it ends up just the right height to stick above your sweat band. I'm not a big fan of flashy graphics, so I just copied AlanC's example. Too bad mine don't have that patina - maybe I'll get some yellow-y cardstock to print them on.

Thanks a bundle, Colby. I'm gonna print one out and stick it in my boater :D

Not that anyone would mistake their non-existent boater for mine :\

I'd love one that says something along the lines of:

Leave it alone. Everyone is just going to call you Indiana Jones.

Heh, if I ever get done with my work, I'll give that one a try.

In my mustom Beaver Brands Hat, and my custom Bronco Sue western hats, I had my name put in the leather band, with this right above it:

Put it back you thievin' ba***rd

I think I'll make a card on Cardstock like that, and have it much the same:

Put it back you thievin' ba***rd
It's not your hat..

Then my name and phone number below it.

A piece of scotch tape just over the name would probably work well.
