when black is sometime too "leather jacket dude" look in certain situations and places, I find grey leather is as good, as cool, and some more.

I money allows, I would still want to get Lewis Sportsman in Turquoise with white stripes. Although my age is catching up with me, I just wonder how often I can wear it.

Something like this.

I went thru a colored leathers phase. Mainly Brimaco jackets in British racing green, royal blue, burnt orange and one dark red/purplish. Also had some Bates CR jackets with color yellow and black, blue and white. They are fun to wear but as I've gotten a bit older the confidence began to wane. Ironically, probably the best fitting jacket I ever owned was that bright blue Brimaco but I just didn't have the sand to wear it regularly.

When I said I was mainly considering a blue or grey jacket next, I was thinking of this kind of blue among others... it looks fantastic!
Does this still fit you as well? If it does, why not wear it more often? If you look good... you look good :)

Grey is the other colour I am actively thinking about. Darkish gray

That would definitely work, Turquoise should go with quite a few colours so maybe not too hard to match. That sounds like a cool jacket to wear in the weekends, so quite a few times a month at least?

I have seen a few mentions of age, but does it really matter in the end?
Sure we are supposed to be wiser, but that only means that we should be better at avoiding style mistakes, as opposed to limiting our options.

It's impossible to capture! I've tried. Had it thrown on the front seat of my truck the other day and it looked so green. The midnight blue CXL is truly a deeeep evergreen.

Is your truck (by chance) a Nissan Frontier? Just wondering as I spotted the upholstery pattern and center console cup holders. I had one but with leather upholstery and it was a great truck which was recently replaced with an F-150.

I bet you that most people who are pulling the look off, used to feel the exact same way. :)

Some people just have a look that works. There's a guy we fly with who can wear, and pull-off, an ascot tie. He looks great in one too! If I wore one I'd probably get beat up.

I think a lot of people over estimate how others would think of them or their look. Only when you look good then they would stare or probably comment otherwise it won't matter whatever stuff you wear won't even register to their mind. So if you like a colored leathers go for it, wear it with confidence then it would work on you

Very well said!
As long as you are acting your natural self when wearing something then you can pull it off. :)

Any pics? :D

Ask and ye shall..... you know.. git! Now this jacket is probably from the late 70's perhaps early 80's. Made by some place called "The Original Leather Line" out of New York. Label say's "Est. Long Ago". Your guess is as good as mine. Probably made in some boutique shop. Says it's a size 52 but it fits like a 48 that's why I wear it so much more now. Mike you old Rapscallion! I just saw your post. Yeah I bought this from HM a couple of 3 years ago. His pics are better'n mine (of course)!

I'd wear that color to death but not that jacket style. I'd do that in a Highwayman even a Bootlegger.

The green jacket you posted suits you fine, but I think the colour of the Lewis is more vivd, perhaps if it faded out?
I only have black and brown leather jackets and I'm wondering whether my soon to order Aero should be a black or cordovan one, I recently got me some great cordovan horween William Lennon and the leather is stunning.

Interesting colour for a Summer leather, maybe?

Now that's green!

I remember seeing motorcycle police in Berlin in 1999 wearing an issued leather jacket in just about that colour. Very distinctive!
