Very good! If you haven't let on that it was a joke at the end I might've found myself desperately searching the Internet trying to find a 1953 Sears Converto in black...
A number of manufacturers made similar ‘long motorcycle jackets’ I had a similar jacket made by Schott in the 60’s same basic shape and mouton collar but different pockets. Mine was a 631ms. The pic is a screen capture from the Schott nyc forum from when Gail identified it for me.
Sadly the stitches fell to bits when I washed it. I’ve kept the zip though.
