Hello Gentlemen,

For me, Lawless should have keep its name, it suits them. They are just thief.

In January I ordered a pair of jeans For a total of $133.

Seeing the train wreck I decided to cancel my order and asked for a refund in April. I battled with them for a month to have a refund, even ask my bank what I could do.
Unfortunately it's been more than three months since I place my order and the bank can't do anything after this time lapse.

I even got in touch with them on Instagram but they blacklisted me pretty quickly.

Then in June they refunded me $60 and put my status order as refunded.

Since then not an answer to my mails. They still own me $73 but I think I just lost them...

So people stay away from Lawless or whatever they're calling themselves nowadays. They can keep changing their name, but their reputation will always follow them.

I feel for the people here who have had a hell of a time with these guys.

I remember at the time when this company first popped up here and there was all this hype about full customisation and you could do this and that and all the other things with your order, and even then I still remember that age old adage (which my Dad used to bang on about endlessly) came straight into my head..."if it sounds too good to be true, then it usually is." I always thought how on earth they could offer that level of customisation for such a cheap price and not get themselves in the brown stuff with every Tom, Dick and Harry jumping at the chance.

Worrying that they've cut the phone off and that their email has gone kaput.

I hope there's a happy outcome, in the meantime talk to the credit card company, PayPal, etc.

Best of luck boys and girls.

If they have stopped taking orders for the time being, that's a positive step, one that that they should have taken a long time ago. Not answering the phone, though, that's rubbish.

I agree mate, but I think the horse has bolted. They should have frozen the ordering months ago, even week on week off. It's a broken record with their promises, same old recycled rubbish time after time. Even if they do complete the orders in the next 60 days or whatever it is, they still deserve a big kick in the ding dings for the way everything has been handled.

Sorry for hyping this brand when it turned out bad. With the 50% off it looked like a chance to get a bargain.
The list over at styleforum is crazylong.

I personally am not screwed yet tho and have gotten more of my stuff. I havent mailed or phoned or been a pain on their instagram but mostly waited.

The timeline is crazy, but if I get my stuff I still value this purchase since the things I get looks awesome. I got the 18.5oz kuroki and they are flawless and fits like a glove, Im really happy about them. I actually wasnt so stoked for them when ordering but basically just got them bc of the weight but they are really very nice.

I also got my herringbone shirt.

These 2 are the ramainding items of my 290-something order so dont hold your breath, but atleast the items came in the end. I got 2 more order-bunches so I hope they get here aswell.

The Kurokis that I received were really nice, there's no denying that. I just wish they were better organised and had better QC, as sending out jeans a full inch short was just ridiculous.
From what I've read on Styleforum etc, it sounds like they've taken on far more than they can swallow, though I've always said that the 'any mod that you like' thing was a recipe for disaster.
In the end, I used my refund to get a really nice pair of Gustin Grab Bag Pima Fires, which are a great weight for this weather, so it's not all bad.

I've been trying to register with that website but it keeps screwing up (undoubtedly my fault). Would someone who's registered enter my order? It'e 11/29/14 -#1373 - Men's jeans, Candiani 13.5oz. Thanks very much.

I received an automated e-mail a week ago stating, in part:
"By now, most of you should have received your custom orders from last November's big bang, however, we are aware that there is a handful of you that have still yet to receive your products. If you are still waiting, we hope that the excitement and anticipation for the customized garment you had created last year has not yet worn off.
That being said, with the launch of our most recent ready-to-wear line produced out of our factory in Los Angeles, we wanted to inform you that anyone who is still waiting on their customized, made-to-order jean from us may, at any time, substitute their custom jean with one from our ready-to-wear line. This has and always will be an option. And, as a side note, our Phoenix factory has been and will continue to fulfill any remaining customized orders."

I wonder how many others got this email. I didn't, but this has happened before. Just a sign of the fecklessness with which these people approach their business, and once again the facts show them to be the liars they are.

cheap, great quality, fast

I hear it over and over every time, only 2 out of 3 can be achieved.
so if they sell a good quality for cheap, be prepared for a very long waiting time.

if you want great quality and fast, then it can't be cheap.
if it is fast and cheap, then quality will suffer.

Exceptions though come to mind, specifically John Chapman's jackets with fantastic quality. Maybe he needs to double his prices to meet the rule. :D

I am wondering how many of you can log in to their website? I can not do it now, and I am sure all my login details are correct.
Even funny, I tried the forgot my password thing, but the website said I didn't registered...what a joke...

I was able to register & log in today.

On the front page menu is the following:

“Due to the high volume of custom orders we will not be taking additional order for the next 60 days. We are still available for updates and inquiries. We thank you for your patience and support and look forward to bring you more great designs and styles at an affordable American made price in the fall."

I have never placed an order with this company. But I was curious to see if I could check in. Which I did.
I don’t know why some of you are having difficulty .

Based on what I’ve been reading here so far, I don’t think I will be placing any orders in the Fall. :D

I'm sorry to hear that Speedy. I put a pretty scathing review on Yelp. They cannot alter or delete them. I would encourage anyone with similar experiences to do the same. Also, there some other good info on selvedge style about how to register a complaint with the better business team or some such. These guys are con men. I honestly can't believe they are still trading.
