Noticed someone else on the selvedgestyle forum also received an order yesterday, both in the correct size, colour and pattern they ordered!

Seems most orders arriving are in the late 200 early 300s now - So they seem to be moving around 100 orders a month (In-between trying to alienate as many customers as possible with various poor customer service decisions and marketing/facebook posts.)

It's unreal isn't it? 100 orders a month, and into the early 300s...I was order 1456 and that was late November. There are December people in the late 2000s. I would hate to think of more recent folks. At 100 a month it would be quicker and more enjoyable to breed an elephant.
They are also marketing Kevlar mc jeans and jackets with a 4 week lead time.....I've never seen so much negative feedback on so many different forums and review sites. It's unbelievable. I cannot look away. It is breath taking.

You do wonder what, if anything, the thinking was in taking so many orders they had no idea how they could deliver. In that last 'production update' email they stated they were taken by surprise by the number of orders that came in over a couple of days. But then they carried on with big promotions and sales taking in more orders, as you say, for another couple of months through to December and beyond. I can only think they saw all the money coming in and figured what the heck.

Afew pics of my recently arrived LD 15 oz jeans. Quality construction and good stitching. Also white cotton backing in the rear pockets (nice touch). I really wish their production/output could keep up with the order backlog.
I hope everyone gets either their order or their refund in a timely manner.

The 15oz denim seems plenty heavy-duty. Couldn't imagine getting anything heavier (maybe if I was still riding motorcycles).

Thanks Bunyip! Patience is a virtue :D

@Tropicalbob: I e-mailed Sal at LD before I ordered and referenced the fit of Levi's 501's. I went with my 501 size, 38 waist, 34 length. The LD fit spot on.
Two weeks after I placed my order, I also ordered a pair of boot cut 15oz LD (got an order number somewhere around 1,200!!!).

Thanks, Chief. Oh, man, I measured myself using the method they prescribed (tape around the waist), which came out a 36. So, I upped it an inch just to be on the safe side, but now I'm really confused because with Levis I usually take a 33. WTH, I'll probably be pushing up the tarmac by the time they come anyway.

Levi's are massively vanity sized, plus if you've been wearing the jeans they have probably stretched a bit. Let's put it this way, I can easily fit in a 29" waist pair of Levi's. I am in no way shape or form, a true 29" waist!!!!! LOL In Gustin I take a 31 or 32, and they are snug at first, but I can easily button all the buttons.

waist of the pants most of the time is not your real waist, you first have to measure how high the front rise first, and from there measure your torso circumference around that spot (give and take)

To close this out for me, I never did get my promised refund, for whatever reason.

Luckily my bank is more sympathetic and efficient and today refunded my money, forwarding my evidence to LD's bank in support of my claim.

So over 5 months and no sign of anything, with probably over 400 (500+?) orders in front of my 750 one, meaning a further wait of probably 6 months at the current snail's pace. And then absolutely no guarantee of even getting the material I ordered based on many recent reviews, much less a decent job.

So I'm off this thread for good now. I wish all my co-sufferers all the best for their refunds and also hope the patient ones get what they ordered, eventually.

Just received an email from Lawless that my jacket is on cutting table now. And the Cutting Table is the first of approximately 12 stations your jeans, jacket, or shirt will go through before they are complete.

Seems like there's chance I can get my jacket before the end of the year.

I received that "cutting table" email also. 3 months or more went by without another word, and they ignored my inquiries. Finally just had my CC company reverse the charges
