Ding, Ding, Ding! You got it. Its at least from the 1920s but I will have more information after I get my hands on it. The chin strap is missing and the block is a mess but I would say its an older campaign type hat.
The sweatband says John B. Stetson Company with an old logo they used for many of their earlier hats.
As I said though, for $20, I don't even care if it fits.
