I'm sure it would fit over just fine. That offer is quite low for what this is.

I think you have the date about in the right time frame, I have a very similar wool overcoat light grey but single breasted very similar. The size of the area on the lapels where they are stitched to the very edge of the lapel itself, seem to be wider (my opinion) on many of the overcoats from that time period. The one I have was made in Yugoslavia right before WWII broke out, it is fully lined and actually looks in a 9 out of 10 condition. Sadly, It does not have the original buttons on it, which I am sure takes away from some of it's value. Who ever owned it first had it fitted and tapered a bit in the front and back to be slightly more form fitting.

Your coat is very nice I hope someone from the Lounge buys it to keep it in the family!

The double breasted overcoats seem to be sought after more.

Thanks for the info. Do you know anything about this particular brand?

Not really, I just know the brand is from Turkey as I have owned a few coats with that same name brand and from what I do know, it is a very well made coat. The wool also is what is called, Mohair, and is considered one of the best wools.
