Just got the langlitz

Its not going to fit me. Not even close. Im hoping it fits the wife. I gave him 40 for it and had to fight him to keep the change lol. He was a little older man out in the country. Ive had two coworkers try it on and were guessing its about a 46. If it doesnt fit her, ill put it up here or on ebay. I told him it wasnt for me and he insisted it was a big jacket. I got out of the truck and his mouth dropped. He just said ya, i think this is going to be for the wife. Ill post pics here shortly

Just got the langlitz

I'm glad you got it man. I would have gone after it but I'm tapped out for this month. Congratulations and for the price you could still grab the Fox Creek one I posted above and be way ahead.

I think he just wanted it gone. His wife had listed it and priced it. He was a really nice guy and i almost felt bad but he didnt seem to care.

The fox creek is a nice jacket, but im saving my pennies for a new langlitz. Hoping to buy that after christmas. Looking at the vintage bates i have and the vintage langlitz id say the quality is comparable but bates blew me off sending samples while im still waiting on the langlitz samples i requested a few days ago. The vintage bates i have is very nice but the leather feels thin compared to my vanson and is a little thinner than the langlitz

Sounds good, Langlitz is such a great jacket. You might have already have seen TRD Leathers but if you haven't, check them out too. They're made in Cleveland.

How's the condition? It looked like one of the photos of the lining showed a hole or tear... Hopefully the leather's good?

Ya, its got a hole at the inside pocket. The leather though is pretty nice. Ill start a new thread here shortly

Sounds good, Langlitz is such a great jacket. You might have already have seen TRD Leathers but if you haven't, check them out too. They're made in Cleveland.

I've owned two TRD jackets. The first one I bought in 2002 at the International Motorcycle Show at the I-X Center, off the rack. Absolutely loved it, my favorite jacket of all time. Lost it at a bar in 2009 or 2010

The second I bought to replace it, in 2011, and it wasn't the same at all, even though I spent more and had them custom make it for me, the leather and the pattern they used weren't right, and even the measurements they took of me weren't right. I ended up selling it at a loss. I can't vouch for their current production, but their older jackets were apparently top notch.

Yes, I talked to the guy over the phone a couple of times about it. Just couldn't seal the deal- being too far away...glad someone on FDL picked it up. Let us know if it doesn't fit...

Im having an issue with uploading pictures directly to the lounge so i just put a link to the photobucket album. The liner is probably in fair to poor condition due to the one hole, but the leather is in pretty nice shape

Still no answer on the langlitz. Are you just searching on cl itself or are you using an engine? Ive been using searchtempest, which isnt very good
