This is a jacket that I liked from the first time I had seen, after hearing about the issues surrounding getting a good fit, and the fact that you were supposed to have a very athletic build to pull it off, I thought it was one of those that would not work for me.
Then I tried a stock size 46 in goat hide and...
The idea is to use it for a while to see how the fold will end up when it is half-zipped, and then add a snap in the relevant place
I really like the brass hardware for this jacket
While the stitching is not as dense as some other makers, it is very clean
This gusset is one factor in the amazing range of motion of this jacket
This back strikes a really good balance between aesthetics and functionality
So this is it, my first Langlitz! I was curious as to what fuss was about this maker at first. Then I saw @sweetfights get an amazing fit with his, which was when I decided I would get one. Can't say I was quick on that one, but I finally got a Langlitz!
This jacket is very confortable, as @Carlos840 mentionned, the range of motion is impressive. Haven't tried riding with it yet, but I have no doubt that it will be up to the task. It is clear, that this jacket is the fruit of years of experience in adapting patterns.
Will it be the last one? No, I already have plans for another one, but will take my time to think it through as I enjoy this one!
Edit: Forgot to mention the weight 2.05kg / 4.53lbs
