Stunning feel and look to the mid weight black cowhide.
The jacket weighs in at just over 8 pounds. Heavy and as thick as Lost World's 4oz plus horse and Aero's 4oz Steer but is more supple to the touch. No flaws in the leather. Smooth durable silky lining. Heavy duty zippers are standard.
Custom fit that cannot be beat. Can be worn on the bike or around town.
Soft goatskin lined pockets.

I'm really out of things to say lately here on TFL... One perfect jacket after another and this one's no exception, except that it's maybe more perfect than most. They've really outdone themselves with that one. Amazing jacket.

And all true about Langlitz customer service. Really the best.

Congratulations, that's a perfect fit and an incredibly cool jacket! and 8 pounds heavy, even though it is "only" midweight leather. Holy cow.

I've been raving about Langlitz eversince I got my Cascade. The leather's grain is indeed flawless, it's thick and very pliable compared to others. Range of motion is superior to anything else out there, fit is bespoke and just perfect. And communication with these people is outstanding. Even the letter with their catalog they sent me had a nice little touch to it ith the Wonder Woman post stamp!

Lol it's actually what Langlitz calls this hide. And they call it that way because they used to have Heavyweight cowhide but apparently people complained that it's too heavy.

I actually have a sample of Langlitz heavy brown cowhide. I have never seen or heard about leather this thick. Ridiculous actually.

Damn man!!! That's the best fit of the bunch. You can toss the rest sweets. That is an absolute lifer. Perfect in all ways a jacket can be measured!

Sent in measurements, and conferred with langlitz when I had any questions or doubt. Frankly, I was worried and did not think it would turn out as good but I have zero complaints and am completely thrilled with the results.

Langlitz has amazing customer service. I like seeing Langlitz get more attention here on FDL. They really deserve it. Can't say enough good things about them.
