Myself, my bf, my teenage son, and teenage daughter attended a historical themed Ball in Oakland, CA. We had a great time! At the Spring Flowers Gaskell Ball held at the Scottish Rite Center.

Hello Jack Patch and thanks! Both the vintage DB tux (this is one of the two vintage DB tuxedos my bf got) and the vintage complete white tie and tails ensemble are from the same vintage dealers, Roberto and Jula Isola of CityVintage of South San Francisco.

Nice tux! Where did he get it?

tonight: I had a tap class in San Mateo, my two teenagers are together at a Beginning Argentine Tango class in SF, and my bf had a piano lesson right after work, and is now visiting his Mom in SF. Right now, I'm cooking up some dinner for myself!

last night (Sunday): A quiet night of all four of us staying in. My bf practiced some piano, my dd did homewok, my ds watched an online movie, and I did a little front garden weeding before it got dark.

We're watching our Disneyland home videos from our trip in March 2012. I worked all day, and then I had a meeting tonight.
I will be so glad when I can go back to being a stay at home mom.

Last night, we folded some laundry, ate dinner, and then watched Antiques Roadshow. Tonight, probably a quick trip to the grocery store & then home for grilling steaks and eating dinner on the back patio.

Saturday? Then there's no doubt about it - taking my friend out for the first time since she got new kidney. Sanitizers, medications, surgical masks.. I have it all ready. What?! Her doctor said she can go out, as long as she's not INSIDE the pub.. so, we'll lounge in the outer area.

Tonight.. I'm obsessing about an interview I went on this morning. Nothing I can do about it now, but I'm thinking about it in excess that is completely unhealthy.

In my peripheral vision, I'm half heartedly watching an anime with my husband, and browsing etsy looking for the potential new work wardrobe that I worry I will not be needing... Yeah... I'm that much of a pessimist. LOL

Pulled pork sandwich, fries for early dinner, successfully avoided a movie I have no interest in watching, worked a second shift of the day, and I'm working on going to sleep now that everyone else is finally out.

I've eaten a bowl of large-curd cottage cheese, washed the dishes, fed the cat, sewn a loose button on my jacket, fished a bread knife out of my kitchen drain with a magnet on a string, and repaired a loose rubber heel on one of my shoes by nailing it back down with used Victrola needles. All that while keeping an eye on the Lounge. Don't tell me I'm not productive.
