Ladies Stetson ??????

I picked this hat up a week or so ago. I have never seen this model before and would like to get some input on what it is. The ad claimed it was wool, I am not sure where they got that from, there are no tags that state anything. It feels and acts just like fur felt, maybe it is a blend. It is very soft and pliable, as you can see in the photos, it takes a shape very easily. The brim is a nice 2 1/2" and the bashed crown is 4 1/2". It is a ladies hat and my daughter is bound to be thrilled with it.

All I was able to find with a cursory Google search is that Norma Kamali had a fashion line that included headwear in 1983 specifically, so it's probably safe to date it from then. Other than that, I couldn't find anything else.

The bow on the left side is typically a ladies hat.

The after pictures look like a wool hat to me while the before pic looks more like a fur felt.

I think it's the color of the hat and the mottling of it that remind me of a wool hat.
