LA: USO Re-enactors needed Oct 3-4 2009

Anyone interested in getting together a USO group for Marching Through History?

I've been asked to give dance lessons at the event and would like a few volunteers to help propagate the dance floor that is being rented. There will be a band and it's all about history and fun.

It happens for two days and is about a year from now. If you are interested in helping out... please respond. I'll be dancing in the meantime.

Hello Matt... sounds like fun!

We're in No. Cal, but LA area is certainly not too far for us. Our two young teen kids dance too! DH and I have been social ballroomers for 15 years so whatever you'd teach us, we can pick up... What time of the year- Spring then? A year out gives us plenty of time to start taking lindy hop lessons! DH and I came down south to Swing Camp in Catalina when our DD was a baby. With us, that adds you another 4... You might want to contact the Art Deco Society in So Calif. Surely they might have members that would want to get in on this.
