Today I am in a selling mood, and am listing this exceptional shadow wool work jacket circa 1940.

I purchased this from an individual who had bought this NOS and had only worn it for a season or two. Certainly seems to check out - the jacket is in quite good condition.

No moth holes, all zippers looking new, ink on union tag not too worn. Cinch buckles not too much wear at all. There was one minor repair done on the sleeve which was the result of the individual rolling it up during wear. Repair is solid and not noticeable unless you’re really looking for it.

Talon zipper code appears to read G0 for 1940.

Just a stunning color and an amazing fit. Extra wide 1940 pointed collar, really nice midweight wool. Simple pleated back.

Most of these jackets were worn to destruction and so finding one in this condition is amazing. Further, the sleeves on these jackets are often very short - this one is a bit longer. I have a couple other jackets that get a bit more wear, so looking to pass this one on.

There is no manufacturer tag - it appears it fell off at the inside collar at some point. Please see below for measurements (please allow a small degree of discrepancy due to human error)

Armpit to armpit: 21.25”
Shoulder to shoulder: 18.9”
Length from collar: 24”
Sleeve from shoulder seam: 24.4”

Price for the jacket is 625 shipped in the U.S. PayPal friends and family. Please let me know if you have any questions.
