LA shops

Hey guys forgive me if this has been covered.

What are some cool shops around LosAngeles?
I have a hat at Barrons now.
Heard of The Villiage Hat shop in Long beach.
I think I read about one down in LA that mostly services the Jewish comunity.

Any others? any survive downtown from the old days?

I second Hollywood Hatters, LaBrea and Melrose Avenues. They're actually having a sale now on selected straw models. Also, check out some of the vintage shops in the general area...HubbaHubba, Junk For Joy and It's A Wrap on Magnolia in Burbank can from time to time produce some unexpected finds. It's A Wrap is actually a studio wardrobe outlet. If you're into western gear, Kings on Ventura Blvd., Studio City, has a nice selection of Stetsons and Resistols.

Ditto here for Hollywood Hatters on Melrose (I third the motion?). Also try "My Baby Jo" in Culver City. They have both "new" vintage clothing and a good stock of hats, straws and felt. Both stores carry a better stock of hats than their websites would have you believe:
