I've heard a lot about this LA Noir video game. It sounds great: if ever I do buy a console, I may well look into it. There's a free men's general interest magazine that gets distributed at Tube stations here in London - it's sort of a low rent version of Esquier. I've never been quite clear at whom it is aimed... put it this way, you'll never see a single item of clothing in it that is listed at retailing for much under GBP200 (and that's for something as basic as a pair of jeans), while a sizeable proportion of the rest of the content is video games and sport. For the well-heeled, wannabe nu-lad, one presumes. Anyhow. This morning I picked up a copy containing a feature interview with Simon Pegg, during which he makes passing reference to being involved in a new Frank (The Walking Dead) Darabont television project called LA Noir. If this is indeed a new show that takes that game as a jumping off point, it could be very good indeed...
