I thought this jacket which I received yesterday from @JMax deserves exposure to the TFL community if only for its dinosaur-level grain and general coolness. I know @Mysteryo has another copy and likes it. It is made of super-light cowhide (feels like 1 mm, honestly), but what it may lack in the weight department it more than makes up in the deep chocolate color and patina department. It is a type of jacket you throw on when you go out and are happy to wear something with so much history. A no-fuss-just-wear-it type of jacket...:)

Wow! Thanks for sharing!

What a patina, looks like it joined all six Kurland battles!

Cheers

Thanks a lot for the useful link.
Yep, the slider shape is identical; I'd say that and your reference confirm they're from the 60s.
Another question, if you don't mind: does your Kurland have some kind of padding in the shoulder area? Once I came across a vintage jacket in a thrift shop (I think that one too was a brown double rider) with structured shoulders.

About the most beautiful uniform patina i’ve seen. Speaks comfy and cool.
You wear it well.
