I like how it has a label with the washing instructions! It just seems like common sense to me never to put a hat in a washing machine, but I guess that many people not acquainted with hats wouldn't know any better.
The liner is pretty cool, as mentioned most Panama's don't have a liner. I think it's better with one, or it at least makes the hat seem even nicer. They did a good job with the mesh. The only thing I don't like is the big ol' pin stuck in the ribbon with the brand name. I would take that joker off

I paid Yen 26,000 ($260) for the hat, and cannot see the same model on the net. Toraya has a slightly better one on their site

but you will see they only go through to 61cm size.

My guess they are not used to taking International orders, and the site in in Japanese. Try and hit a few of the buttons on their site though, and you will see their inventory.

Wow! They carry some REALLY nice hats! The Knox Optimo Panama is droolable, as is the Knox Milan straw! Wish we could get those here. Damn!
