I just picked this up from ebay. I was lucky enough to be able to pay for it in person. it is a beautiful hat. It is very lush and has the feel of flannel. It is in perfect condition and fits like a glove.

Marc I had heard of this company for a while but I had never seen one. The seller had a photo of the interior but it was'nt clear but I took the chance. It is in really beautiful condition and beautifully made. It has a slight ridge at the brim edge that is not quite like a Cavanagh but is a nice little detail.

Thanks Jon, it came to me open crowned and I am not sur this will be the final bash or not.
Dean, I think I have a long way to go before My moustache is as regal as our
"MOUSTACHE".
JD, the color is truely grand and even though the photo does not show it there is a definite grain to the felt.

And i like that grain effect.
As for the moustache, yours is superb!Mine is not as long as it was a few months back due to a wee bit of triming.Have had it very long for 4 years and wanted an easier-to-maintain look.So the handlebar is more conservative now.

Keep those whiskers growing!!!

That is a shame james. I think Bond Clothes lasted a bit longer. This is the second hat I have gotten that was made for that store. When Bond or other stores had hats made for them do you think that they where specific styles or colors made inlimited runs for the stores or did the stores just have a great marketing team.

Bond Clothes had what was billed as "the world's largest men's haberdashery" in Times Square, with a brobdingnagian neon sign in the front.

At night, strands of electric lights seemed to clothe the chunky classical figures of a man and woman, but by day they appeared naked.

Those loincloth-lights were added only after guests at the Hotel Astor across the street complained about the statues' scandalously nude state. lol

Douglas- you've scored again-how do you know? vibrations? telepathy? that hat didn't show promise to me, and I gave it every chance-you see it, buy it,and
POP! it magically transforms into great object. You're touched by the taste gods, man, and you are one lucky and astute collector. Keep it up, it's a life-long gift; and about the facial follicles-terrific!! I really hope you're kind of a grumpy guy who's having a ball doing all this- the balance would be ok. If you're a really nice, smiley-face guy, I'm gonna chase ya....

all in good humor-have a good Holiday M
