Kinda New Member Checking In

Greetings to all,
I've been here a while (half a month and 47 posts), and active in a couple of threads. But as I've been looking around, it appears to be common courtesy to introduce oneself publicly, which I have not yet done. So this is my first time in any kind if forum, but I think I'm catching on quickly enough. I'm addicted to hats (a healthy addiction, if not for the pocketbook), and have lurked around on occasion in years past. My obsession took off when I bought my first Tilley, but fur felt fedoras have been a recent thing. I look forward to making acquaintances with those of you I have not already. See you all around.

Hi "Skeet" McD,
I've only been going for five years, so far. I play off my beloved Sonare 705; sadly, not well. It's more of a hobby than a profession. However, I am looking forward to an upcoming concert with Sir James Galway as soloist. I'm in the background; it's really about him. Still am excited, though!

And to everyone else, thank you for the very warm welcomes! I confess that I am crazy about hats; I've got more than what I could possibly wear at once (outnumbered by some 10 to 1). Funny, it works out that way for a lot of things... (i.e. shoes, coats, suits, watches...)
