saucerfiend. Those are beautiful jackets and perfect fits. And welcome to the forum. You'll love it here

Cooperson. jopi109 - that half-belt is a cracker, love it! Welcome to the Lounge and thanks for sharing

Thanks for the welcome chaps

ButteMT61. Agreed. Looks like steer? Very nice.

Definitely Horse - only about a month old but getting near constant use as the Highwayman is in Scotland having the sleeves shortened by an inch.

The grain is coming through beautifully

Probably due to all the rain we get in this part of the world!

I also really like the lining

Beautiful jackets guys! Love all of them! I'm so lucky, as here in the greater Seattle area I have two (Goodwear and Insurrection) options for these beautiful utility jackets! So far my favorite jackets in this thread are the Aero jackets, so I'll be heading up to Insurrection first. Again, beautiful and inspiring jackets! They really make me think of an earlier time...I can see so many iconic American's, from Jackson Pollock to James Dean, wearing these incredible jackets.

Jopi109: Nice! Here's my "Chisholm Hunting Modern" Tartan. I really like that one too. Good to see more folks get different Tartans!
Good grain on the HH! My new 50's HBD spent the first two weeks in UK & France in the rain as well :)
Below shots are of it brand-new. Waiting a little longer to take pics as it's starting to break-in nicely. It was cold and windy and the FQHH was like sheetrock lol

John, my mistake in the reply. I was thinking he was replying to "Buler" and the black jacket. It looks like steer to me - yours is definitely FQHH!!! lol
Very nice. Love that lining.

That's a great looking jacket ButteMT61. I love the collar - perfect for the cold northern European winter months. Just as well it's removable though - I doubt it'll see much use in sunny Pasadena!

The Chisholm Tartan made it onto my short list too but I had to go with Skye as I've spent many fine times on the island.

This is a dangerous thread (dangerous to my bank balance!!) - so many good looking jackets. Starting to think about another purchase...

I'd be happy to see an Aero Teamster appear on this thread if anyone has one?

Real Utility Jacket

Well Stearmen..it's not really a keeper..or a civilian jacket...so [huh]
HD

Well, I was wearing it as a civilian, and it defiantly was a true utility jacket as you can see, not a show jacket, so two out of three, ain't bad!

Here are a couple of shots of my Highwayman (vintage cordovan FQHH), it was about five months old when these pictures were taken.

These are so nice. I tried one on at Insurrection a while ago. Great fit! Great, what are we calling them!?, Utility Jacket! Butte--I agree with you about the collar. It's a very nice touch!
