Moments ago I won this, my first reasonably accurate reproduction. I might change the patch, I might not, but I love the fact that it's a russet brown with dark knits, a suggestion to look for from Fletch. I'd like to have the 9th Bomb Squadron patch on it instead of the 570th that is there now, and actually a 1930's A-2 is what I had in mind, inspired by some photos Fletch posted recently. Probably the Army Air Forces stamp in the lining rules out 1930s era wear, and I'm sure there are glaring inaccuracies in the jacket that I'm just not knowledgable enough to identify, aside from a most likely bogus tag, or fit that is just too roomy. Who knows at this point. When it arrives I'll post a few pics with it on.
