The Elvis/Jesus jacket seems to have some Mexican influence. It reminds me of the aesthetic in Shakespeare's time, that of "Great riches in a small room." If you look at almost anything from that period (boots, gloves, house furnishings, etc.), they packed as much detail as they could into any available space. It's kind of interesting, if only because it's so much the opposite of the minimalism that's generally appreciated here.

This is just brilliant. I have heard of thinking outside of the box, but thinking outside of the straight jacket......................

If you have a few bucks to spare, twelve hundred will get you:

Or you could stand out from the crowd for just $777

Call me weird but I actually think two of those jackets look cool in the way “items that Prince could wear as scene clothes” kind of way.

Specifically these:

Shin started a thread he named:"Where do you like your sleeve to end? Wrist? An inch below? Your first thumb knuckles?" Sometime ago I came across a short sleeved leather jacket, so bearing in mind the title of Shin's thread, I was going to put it there. But it's comic value might have gone to waste, so here for everyone whose not faint hearted, is the jacket and the sales splurge. It claims that you covet this one badly. They say it's made from ponyskin calf leather. What? Are they suggesting that some amorous equine impregnated an ignorant bovine when she was otherwise occupied?

All the jackets featured on this page resemble catwalk styling to me. Something the retailers will take ideas from but not the original form. Also possible stage clothes.

So I can't interest you in a nice white jacket then. Can you imagine how long it would stay white for?

I Will sit down with a nice cup of tea in a vintage bone china cup and saucer. The cup will have one of those quaint rippled edges so as I take the first sip of the brew a drip will land just about mid chest hight(This happened last night but with a Spaghetti Bollo) The last strand having a 'whip' effect for the last inch:D hahaha.

With apologies to the animals who died to make this jacket, and to lounge members who must now look at it, I present this monstrosity:

I can kinda see how it might appeal to a carpet sample salesman. But yikes. What an unholy mess of a grizzly.
