He just realized he spec'd cm instead of inches. The guy wearing it doesn't look convinced
The thing that kills me about these types of jackets is that it takes nothing to recreate it. I mean I’m not capable of making a denim jacket from scratch haha but my point is....it doesn’t appear to be any sort of amazing denim that itself costs a lot and so it has a bunch of Marvel patches on it. So ok I can go buy Any generic denim jacket for 100 or less. Probably buy all those patches for 100-200bucks and there you go same jacket more or less for 200-300. I don’t mind that some brands charge a premium. I can’t afford a lot of them but they have every right. And some are creating works of art, not just jackets. It’s these ones that are doing nothing special that kill me. Especially when it’s not just a premium cost of a few hundred but in this case an up-charge of 6,000.^^ perhaps the typo was supposed to be $61.41

I think fashion brands sometimes will put something in a collection that they know is not going to sell. The purpose of including it in the collection could be to strengthen their brand recognition or create a buzz or tell a story or something. I think this jacket is one of those items.
I don’t disagree. Buy whatever makes you happy and feel good. And yeah the patches are symbols and faces of Marvel Villains to answer your question. Chances are they are unique. I just get angry when I see 6,000 dollar truckers, and 2,000 dollars jackets at that. I don’t like the economy we have and the system we live in. But that’s not a convo for this forum haha. I get angry and annoyed on principle. But I do think if you’re going to charge 6,000 for a trucker the least you could do is make it out of the best denim, and have it be something special not just something special because it’s rare. It should also be created with unique, and quality materials. At least in my opinion. That’s also why I get angry at 2,000 dollar jackets but at least I can almost see it. If it’s some special leather and some craftsmen sitting down putting their hard earned sweat and blood into it.Yep, make sense. Could be that the patches are 100% unique. Same with War of the Worlds jacket that everyone went nuts over, until Belstaff re-created it and sold it for thousands and there hasn't been a decent copy since and not even theirs is all that good. Regardless, I don't think buying this trucker is in any way dumber than paying $1500 for any leather jacket. In reality, it's equally insane, even though we've been indoctrinated to believe that somehow leather jacket is much more valuable due to whatever, we know the story all too well. But it's not, same as it's not a waste of money if this jacket will make you happy. I'd rather buy this than I dunno, a new faucet.
You make a valid point, but the reason for those eye watering prices is nothing more than hype. Victoria Beckham was photographed by the paparazzi leaving some celebrity watering hole, on the arm of her husband, she was wearing a ladies bomber jacket. That photo was splashed across the lowest common denominator press, next thing you know, Victoria Beckham ladies leather bomber jackets are flying off the shelves at seventeen hundred pounds each, no shortage of takers. More money than sense? What's the betting that most of those sales went on a credit card, racking up yet more debt?In reality, it's equally insane, even though we've been indoctrinated to believe that somehow leather jacket is much more valuable due to whatever, we know the story all too well. I cant understand current world hype following trend. Social medias really shape human civilization into insectoid mind. You make a valid point, but the reason for those eye watering prices is nothing more than hype. It is indeed puzzling as to how royalties, some patchwork and washing bring the price up from USD201 to USD6141, a 300% increase.I don’t disagree. Buy whatever makes you happy and feel good. Another idiotic creation by Fine Creek. If they don't have anything concrete to copy from, this is what they come up with.
