Just when you thought you had seen it all . . . (Warning: Not for the fainthearted)

Would stop the inside upper-arms from getting scuffed too. I can't imagine they serve much practical purpose, somebody just liked them.... Unless it was made for a curvy lady who was trying to work around the limits of a jacket patterned for a male body...

I was thinking the same. That armpit strap could only have damaged the sleeves.

What's the point of this junk? What's the point of asking so much money for it?

Nobody is going to buy it as it stands, let alone for 500 GBP. Or does anyone actually wants to be seen in this? Serious question, would you guys buy it? And if so... Why? For warmth?

This morning at 7am was -7C and trust me if I had anything like that I would’ve worn it.

Considering the temperature only plummets like that every 5 years or so for a couple of days at most, I could put in 10 wears in 20 years.

Just 500GBP you say...

Aesthetically not my style in the least, but I suspect this is the sort of thing you'd see a lot of if you hit the "right" ski slopes in-season. Never "got" ski-ing holidays, myself. I mean, I'm sure it'd be fun for getting around in snow, but up and down all day? I'drather spend theafternoon ski-ing between lodges all the way down!

@Edward & @Mich486 , sure, these must be warm but the material on this is worth 13 quid, not to mention for under a 100 GBP you could find something that's not downright hideous so 500 GBP for what is essentially a stuffed garbage bag...

I was kidding! personally would never spend anywhere near that for such a thing.

No matter what you do, some items are so intrinsically technical/utilitarian that even after 50 years they can’t pass off as civilian clothing that can be worn day to day. This is no a2 or j24. If I did go skiing certainly there is much better equipment available nowadays.

A like a bold statement collar as much as the next jacket obsessive, but this? Is it meant for a lady who is shy? Or insecure about her appearance? Or was it a prescient forward thinking design for our covid mask wearing times? But whatever the intended purpose, it would make a rather unfortunate sail if foolishly worn on a motorbike...

That rear zip seems a pretty bizarre bit of design too especially for a short jacket...

A Louis Vuitton jumper which is bizarrely decorated with giant puppets and costs almost £6,000 has been mercilessly mocked on social media. The luxury fashion brand's new creation has left customers in stitches. The black Louis Vuitton jumper is covered in 14 crocheted toys. The puppets resemble characters from old children's TV shows, including The Muppets' Kermit the Frog and Big Bird from Sesame Street.
The back of the jumper is surprisingly sparse in comparison with the puppet-heavy front, only featuring what appears to be a golden monkey and a black lobster. But shoppers suspected the high-end fashion house was trying to pull the wood over their eyes with its eye-watering £5,800 price tag for the 'Puppets All-Over' jumper.
So there you have it loungers and if you really can't bring yourself to give up on the leather, well Louis Vuitton has just the answer for that. A snip at £6,950. Disclaimer: This really, really, really is NOT for the fainthearted. You have been warned.
