Some lady in a casino in Vegas actually thought I WAS her until she got right up next to me! lol With bangs they say Bettie Page without it's Christina Ricci. Well at least I think they're both pretty easy on the eyes! I'm so nutty over my forehead because a girl I was friends with in grade school teased me about it ALL the time. It's so silly how something like that can stay with a person! Thanks for the words of encouragement for us gals with a big forehead!

Erm...that is just about a *perfect* hourglass! A very desirable figure, and in a very tiny size, too. I know it doesn't seem like it now, but I sincerely doubt you have any significant figure flaws. Trust us...we know of what we speak, as we have "been there and done that".

I much prefere a sexy round feminine bulge below the belt à la Liz Taylor...

Even if Liz was a much larger size she'd still be equally hot (like in Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf), it's not about the size, it's about the proportions. To me skinny does not equal hot.*yucky* Far from it. I go for soft flesh, not hard bones.
I love the hourglass. Personally I don't have a Liz figure, but I'm still a looker. There is no formula for beauty. Gees, use your imagination! Go after your gut feeling, what turns you on with a certain man or woman? Not what mainstream tells you is sexy, but what really physically is.
Besides, you don't even have to want to be sexy! I'd go for classy and beautiful over sexy any day; I don't like staring men.

So true...I wish I'd known before I had kids then I'd have been more grateful. How tall is Dita? I'm 4'10"ft but 33-25½-34 is not very small on me and relative to my height I don't look skinny. I've been much larger, I've never been skinny, but I can say with some experience, that I've never felt better than I do now. When you've "been there and done that" you just have to be grateful that all parts are still attached to your torso.

I sure wouldn't mind having Dita's complexion but my hair is naturally, healthy black, her hair doesn't look that great. Sure I'd like some of the things in her wardrobe but I don't see her as an icon. Each to their own. I don't have bangs now but if I did and someone thought I was trying to channel the Dita look, then I wouldn't feel all too flattered.

I don't like the idea of trying to emulate someone else's look. I like originality. It doesn't have to be creative as long as your look is true to how you feel about yourself. Ideally we should all feel good in our bodies regardless of whether we're one shape or another and it's really not for anyone else to judge whether one body shape is better for us than another.

If someone has an issue with your figure, then they seriously need to examine the source of insecurity that's making them feel like it's any of their business.fftopic:

I can't say that a flat stomach or a bit of a bulge or something else is more attractive than the other. It's all about proportions, the person it's sitting on and a whole host of other things. Actually, it doesn't really figure into my thoughts on beauty. I may have an opinion about whether I think someone is beautiful or not but I don't have any set ideals.

i am 4'11 and a modern size 3. in vintage sizes,im like a 4 or 5. i don't feel bad about myself,its just,eeek!

cherry lips, I agree with Smuterella, you are a doll! Everyone please be happy with your bodies. I may be well tipsy right now and thus my hippie self is very much in the front but please, just love your bodies the way they are and enjoy them, use them, and you will be sexy and gorgeous regardless!
