I will post a more detailed review after I live with this jacket for a few days, but-fresh off the press--here is my new Aero Sheene. I would give it a 9/10!

Looks amazing! What leather is that? I do agree a bit shiny now but that will wear off some soon. Did you go with Alpaca wool lining?

Enjoy braking it in!

This is "jerky" seal Horsehide and, yes, it is alpaca lining. This is probably my 7th or 8th Aero. I have always ordered/owned CXL and, although almost nothing looks better in my opinion, I found that I rarely would wear those for more than a few months as they were just a bit too stiff for my liking. I wanted something different. I was "on the fence" with Steerhide, Vicenza, etc., but I decided on the jerky. I think I will be glad I did. So far, putting on the jacket feels easy and wearing it feels comfortable. It feels about 1/2 or 3/4 of the weight of all of my CXL jackets, but still has a very robust presence. The leather does really almost have that "beef jerky" or "deer jerky" look to it up close. The photos do not do this leather service. I plan to be a little more deliberate soon and take some better/high res photos to try to show what I mean. The leather "almost" feels like it has an ever so slight stretch to it. Waxy and springy...if that makes sense. It will be interesting to see and feel the jacket as it breaks in. I think I will have this one for life.
