Now that the temps are coming down I'm putting up this shearling lined field jacket (more like a parka) I had made from Johnson Leather a while back. The outer body is a green finished cowhide around 3.5oz, and it's lined in a half inch grey shearling they had left over from a Japan order. The bottom is lined with corduroy and the sleeves have thinsulate with internal knit cuffs. The shearling collar is removable as is the hood, which has a coyote tail for wicking away frost. As with most field jackets it's got four external pockets plus two handwarmers lined in flannel, and two internal pockets as well. Two way #10 YKK zipper. Also has an action back, there's no restriction of movement in this thing whatsoever. Despite all the leather it doesn't feel all that heavy at all, JL patterns are just really nice. As always, let me know if you have any questions.
