Unfortunately no, they are suppose to make me a mock up jacket, but no I haven't heard anything from them.

Hopefully you will get the fit jacket soon. Most of us who placed orders recently won't get our jacket till November, how about your order?

The waiting time Damon gave to me on both jackets is 9 weeks, so my 6oz one should be October 22th and Natural one should be Nov. 3

I have never had much luck with custom jackets arriving on time. Out of ten or so that I have ordered I think that perhaps two of them arrived on or before the promised date. Most of them have been at least a month late, if not two or three.
On the one hand this is very annoying because there are such high expectations and longing to have the jacket in hand. On the other hand the only thing that really matters in the end is how it fits and that it meets or exceeds your expectations.
That’s all I know anyway, here’s wishing all of you guys luck and I can’t wait to see your jackets when they arrive!

For me it's actually a good thing, having to wait a bit longer for a jacket to arrive. As long as there's one on the way, I don't feel the urge to order another one.

I can’t believe you don’t already own one. I think I’m only slightly less excited to see these two jackets than you are. My brain is already calculating one for me. At NSA supercomputer speeds.
Those are expensive, if I am getting really really serious I am going to buy one Made in Germany, the jaw death is 20 inches, long enough to measure every part of the jacket. Of course, unless I am crazy, the price is $595.

I love to hear what future jacket collector or future anthropologist 100 years from now would theorize what happened around our timeline late 2010 to 2020 to have behemoths of jackets made, probably they would spend 56minutes to explain how an ancient sudden global pandemic of respiratory disease must have something to do with it, people live in hard times citing mass graves as proof, probably mention a hole in ozone layer, or acid rain, people wearing mask daily, global civil unrest( probably pictured as gas mask since they get confused with hongkong protester), maybe even theorize these jackets were commissioned by people who are about to embark on their journey to mars and proudly name these jackets as Corona Rider by the end of the show.

I'm sure they will love us for buying more jackets than we actually need.

They would find theory why do we need lots of jacket, and would come up with radioactive dust or gamma ray radiation whatever that we must rotate outerwears to survive day to day living, they would use example how a black jacket would quickly turns brown while mysteriously lacking real sign of hard wearing. and if you are still alive by then and blessed with many grandchildren, every weekend they would ask you again and again "Grampa please tell us again that stories about jackets and jeans that standing by itself" and you have to fabricate some ghost story to make it interesting for kids

I bought a chinese made one on eBay for around 10GBP, it works fine...
I get the "german tools obsession", but that's really overkill!

I just bought a mechanical caliper for $6, shipped from Shenzhen. Paired with my $4 Chinese electronic scale I figure I have all the tools to report on my jackets on TFL...:)

In addition I can use the scale to set drag on my fishing reels, so there...:)

If they break I will get new ones. The throwaway society we live in...except outerwear, of course.

I stopped into Johnson Leathers this weekend to pick up my Aero connolly patrolmen's jacket and Alan mention he was making jacket from 6 oz. I was impressed Alan called me by my name and the last time I saw him was 2015 when I picked by the one and only jacket I ever had made to order, a replica of an Levi speedway from a picture I copied. I do not know of any other jacket company that will build a custom jacket from a picture.
I looking forward as many here for the outcome. i think the stiffness rather than the weight of the jacket will be the challenge.

the overdye is very very soft, as long as it is not harmful to my body I have no worries. (I think the jacket should weight between 10-13 lbs)
