The YKK on my Johnson Leather is holding up just fine after 6 years of frequent use, in fact far more use than most jackets posted here have seen before being sold on again... I would never spend excessive amounts of money on a zipper nor spend much thought on it failing; chances are your interest in the particular jacket "fails", long before the zipper does.

I absolutely love #3, the Prince Of Wales. I always just referred to this as a “houndstooth check”, The original seats in my friend Hugos 69 Camaro have this pattern and it is bad ass!!!
I also agree with some others about the zipper, stick with your big riri.

My vote is for number three as well. I have the same lining ( mine is 100% cotton flannel 20oz.) in one of my heavy horse hide jackets and it looks and wears well.

That is funny, Carlos. Now I can't stop thinking how to "americanize" other famous designers. I guess I cannot come up with anything funny, so John wins.
Eve Saint Lawrence won't cut it I suppose. I'll keep thinking.
