I’m telling ya man...order the 8oz. No compromises.so I asked Alan to weigh their newly finished jacket in CXL 4.75 oz, and it only weight 7.5 lbs, at size 48.
I have no idea how they define it is 4.75 oz. I don't think Horween has 8oz overdye now plus why I spend extra money?I’m telling ya man...order the 8oz. No compromises.
Hmmm. Not sure about black OD but they go up to 10 in other CXL’s.I have no idea how they define it is 4.75 oz. I don't think Horween has 8oz overdye now plus why I spend extra money?
Probably I should have a leather gauge ready.
But you know if it is true 4.75 oz it will not be that light, that's the point.Hmmm. Not sure about black OD but they go up to 10 in other CXL’s.
Yeah that’s why I tried to warn you way back in the beginning to go heavier. That JL you have that was mine was advertised as 4.25oz and I felt it was closer to 3.5. Solely based on the weight. I had two other overdye’s and they both felt a bit heavier but not much. But you know if it is true 4.75 oz it will not be that light, that's the point.
switch to down jacket.Where do you go from here?
