That one is from J. Hückel´s Söhne so probably 1930s maybe earlier. Thanks for posting!

Hückel Velour

A bit of wear on this one although the felt appears intact. Seems to have shrunken a bit and the unmarked 2-1/4" wide sweatband is held in only at the back seam. Would be about a size 7 as it fits like a 7-1/8 without the sweatband.

I changed the liner detail but still can't read it. First letter is either a V or D and 5-6 letters in all. No tags or other markings of any kind. Sweatband appears to be a replacement but very old. Almost golden silk material.

The logo is similar (more detail though) to the Jota Seal Velour. Happy your hunch proved correct!

Amazing old black back bow JHS Standard Cystall Velour, size 4 1/2 Point. This one belongs to Robert (RLK).

Hückel Elastic Melone

Hückel Elastic Melone, black, size 58/59. Great condition and probably dates from the 1930s. No country of orgin on the paper label but made by JHS. A very fine specimen indeed!
