Jacket Makeover..

I'm sending my third Jacket for a Makeover, one of my Inexpensive jackets getting the furry collar - making it a larger Mouton; somewhat the size of the other Jacket next to it, and the lining to be changed from the furry tan to Dark brown furry lining, I'll wait to see the end result.. Why?

Ok so the new version is not bad per-se but why? It was perfect vintage condition as it was, why'd ya go an' mess with it?

It was good as it was, totally oldschool!!! Aw man!

The old version was CLASSSSIC MAN!!! CLASSIC!!! That's the Same Jacket The chopper Pilot in the original Dawn of the Dead Sequel was wearing!!! I used to have one of those.

I hope someone saved the original liner at least? Did it get scrapped?

I make a living dealing in recycled clothes, shame to waste it.

Thank you, so Much, So So Sorry.. It took this long..I grew up in the 70's, late 60's.. and I was so so attracked to bomber Jackets, I still to this day want to preserve vintage Bomber flight jackets.. But I was in sixth grade around 1977.I really didn't know any more around the early 70's. But in 6th grade my classmate had a bomber flight jacket that I would never forget, It had a Brown Mouton Fur lining, I pursued it till this day.., I have never found that particular one, But I had to come up with the Internet..I just don't know Who Made this Jacket back then. I'm still on that hunt... I'm just wanting to wear it... , I still have some vintage one's..

I don't know who made those, a bunch of different makers, but the one I had Was possibly SEARS brand.

This is the same Style Jacket, Mine was in BAD condition, The liner was blackened and the leather was Very worn, the pockets ripped and the Cuffs and waist were frayed badly, You have no idea! It suited me perfectly!!! A friend of mine who worked at the Oakville Army surplus gave it to me for polishing up the combat boots, it was never going to sell anyway, it was in horrible condition.

My favorite clothes are time worn and full of dirt and holes

Thrift stores normally throw those kinds of clothes away AUGH!!! JUST WHEN THEY ARE STARTING TO LOOK GOOOOD!!!!

Your Jacket is *Like new* condition compared to the one I had!

...I miss that Jacket it was SO 1970's!!!
