Jacket Hangers, a new approach

I've seen a variety of leather jacket hanger designs on the board, including some using foam pipe insulation. Since I tend to wash and then air dry most of my leather jackets for shaping and patina purposes, I needed something a little more supportive. Mine uses those kid's "pool noodles", which are waterproof, rot free, and come in ribbed formats that allow a little more air circulation. I bevel the ends for ease of insertion.

Kind regards,

P.S.: For the wood is impregnated and lacquered it is water proof!

Great idea. I take it the center of the noodles are hollow?

I use the same type hanger as Johhanes for my pea coats, but the are expensive when I have so many of them to put on hangers. The leather jackets get thrown on the closet floor. Don't need any type of hanger down there.

I've never used hangers for leather. I don't really get why you would... unless it saves space maybe.
Hmm. I've got ~14 jackets in the closet. WIthout hangers, I don't see a very wife-friendly way to not use hangers and still have jackets ready and uncrumpled...piling them up or boxing them isn't too practical.
