I'm looking past the dolled up glam gals what do you see after the Makeup and hair are released from their duties? I want people who have it regardless!

I've met Dita Von Teese... Take her out of her clothes and paint and she's no longer as much of a tease. grant is Grant the world over, and so is Powell!

They didn't dwindle into obscurity in a mumu.

Lucy had it
Ginger Rogers
Elizabeth Shue
Clara Bow
Betty Hutton

I hardly think Bette or Kate qualify as dolled up glam gals.

Should a person ooze "it" or wear "it" lightly? Or wear "it" differently depending on the circumstances?

Should people who have less of "it" try to project more of "it" or be natural?

charisma can be a difficult subject to grapple with because most people think it is a mystical, elusive, undefinable quality that either you have or don't have. However, webster's ninth new collegiate dictionary definition for charisma uses, 'A personal magic of leadership arousing special popular loyalty or enthusiasm'.
Each one of us has certain abilities that will increase the charisma of our personality. You don't have to make a strained effort to become something that is not comfortable with your basic nature. However, if your desire is to become a people person, then you need to develop an appealing personality that causes others to respond to you.

This is how people talk about you with "it"

He always runs while others walk
He acts while other men just talk.
He looks at this world, and wants it all,
So he strikes, like thunderball.
He knows the meaning of success.
His needs are more, so he gives less.
They call him the winner who takes all.
And he strikes, like thunderball.

Any woman he wants, hell get.
He will break any heart without regret.
His days of asking are all gone.
His fight goes on and on and on.
But he thinks that the fight is worth it all.
So he strikes like thunderball

And although they've already been named, they have so much "it" they deserve another picture:

Despite the fact that Errol Flynn is 1/4 arrogance.

I still have no idea what "it" is, but apparently "it" is something only actors are allowed to have.

Is "it" a toupee?

Gleason! Yes!

And, this gentleman had more "it" than is allowed in any one man in any given century:

AND he knew how to dress well, had impeccable manners and breeding, and a great collection of HATS.

But I don't think only the athletic types can have it.

I was referring only to the ease with which they wear their suits.

Speaking of Gleason, I was surprised to learn that he was athletic -- and slim -- at the beginning of his career. Perhaps he never lost that ease of his youth, even as his waistline expanded.
