Is this suit to bold for a business suit?

I have been rethinking the hat thing and maybe I can get a cheaper homburg to go with the navy suit. I was thinking a light gray with gray ribbon, any opinions?
Also, can anybody recommend and affordable homburg? Saw some wool godfather hats on ebay but I'm not sure if they would be alright, even for theater. Or should I start a thread in the hat forums? Thanks.
