Is This Schott P613s Too Large?

I appreciate everyone's input. It reassured me that it does fit well, which is what my gut was telling me even if it fits differently than I'm used to. I'm giong to stick with this size. I tried some layering under it last night and decided it's nice to have a jacket with some room for a hoodie underneath. Also, since it's the type of heritage piece that will last a lifetime, I like that it will have a bit of room for the inevitable weight gain of my middle ages. Lastly, since I bought it on ebay and can't exchange it for a small, I'd have to spend $400 more than I did to buy a small from the Schott site.

I'll post some better pictures of it after it's broken in.

Just wear it and enjoy it. The hide color is gorgeous as well as the dark hard wear. Have no doubt, it looks very nice.

Not too large. You see a lot of Aeros kind of doing that thing where you have a bit of leather puffing out in the back (going by the profile angle). I'm sure it's just the heavier hide combined with all of the seamage in that area on the jacket.

The back photos show absolutely zero indications of being too large. As Edward said, I think Schott could improve by making this jacket 1.5" shorter. But that's being picky!

Looks like a good fit to me... and I think a lot of people's jackets fit too large.

It just amazes me that there are those who wear an untucked shirt hanging several inches below the end of a nice jacket out in public and evidently think it is cool.

Hi - the jacket looks fantastic now. I did not end up keeping the one pictured in this post. I bought another size medium from Schott and it fit significantly better, then I returned the one in the photos. The one I kept is a shade lighter, which is not preferable, but I’ll take fit over color nuance any day.

I’ve worn it a lot the past five years and began riding in it a few years ago.

Here are some recent pictures in different lighting.
